It has occurred to me that you might like to get an idea of what I do, so I thought I'd start some random jottings in the form of a diary.....sorry blog.

The nice people at 7 Dials Directory have done a write up on me!  Just signed off the photos - glad they've included the four poster room from the house in France, I love that room and I don't think I've got it on this website (must check!)

Back from meeting with Mrs H.  We are on to the kitchen / dining area at last.  Ideas are forming....need to speak to my tiler friend about an idea I have before I do anything else, I'm sure she knows where to get exactly the tiles I have in mind for less than I think they cost.....I've got the mood boards propped up on my desk as I work to remind me of natural colours that inspired us.

Finished initial kitchen ideas.  Need to cost it now - a crucial part of the job, keeping within budget!

Must chase the worktop people, the samples I ordered haven't arrived.

Mrs C needs some help with a potential knock-through - putting back the proportions that an overzealous developer has ignored.  Will make a huge difference to the space, let in loads more light and it will FEEL better.  A few CAD drawings should do the job.

Am popping over to my favourite paint shop to see if the new colours are in....well, it gets me excited....

Had a meeting with a prospective client, as always it's nice to get to know people and how they see their homes.  Tons of scope, I think this is a "room by room" project.....best taken in easy stages, kinder on the bank balance and the sanity for most people (unless they can move out, that's a perfect world....)

I always come away from these meetings with my head whirring....and a load of messy notes and sketches.  Sit down and make order out of them immediately.

Just seen the results of a little job a did a few weeks ago - paint colours, blinds and soft furnishing advice.  Very very pleased.
